LyX 2.2 is totally broken

I just compiled LyX 2.2 and tried to work with it - it is a nightmare!:
LyX crashes all the time, for example when you use a menu, when closing
files, files cannot be saved anymore and LyX even deletes files I try to
save:

Can anybody else confirm this?

I really wonder whether you read the mailing list posts...
All of this is probably due to the str-metrics branch merge.
And JMarc will be on vacation until the end of the month.

The last months I had no time for LyX and also now, my time is very
limited. So yes, I did not take the time to read the list posts of the
last months.

Why was the branch merged despite it makes LyX obviously unusable? I
mean the branch was started to mature a new feature so it should have
been merged when it is mature enough. But OK.

It turns out that the bug about crashes on menu usage was not due to
the str-metrics merge. I cannot reproduce the other bug you mention
about crashes on file saving.

Because this is the only way to get it mature. Or did you follow JMarc's call
and help testing the str-metrics branch?

Master is a development branch, it is not meant for productive use. You should
always be prepared that it will eat your children.
