Francisco Redondo recently sent a PDF (and will send the corresponding
LyX file) for an xypic example file, but it is not a direct
translation of the English xypic manual. What is our policy on such
files? Do we have any non-English manuals/examples that are not
translations?
I sent this to lyx-docs but I was contacted by the author asking if
there was any news so I thought I would ask on lyx-devel as well.

My own opinion is that we should allow non-English manuals/examples
that are not just translations of the English manuals. Of course, they
should not have any conflicting names with the English manuals (even
if those translations do not yet exist).

Wild guess: de/Dezimal.lyx?

In any case, of course we should accept them (with a non-conflicting
name, i.e. ejemplo-xypic.lyx if it's an example in spanish).

Yes, sure.

Thanks for the feedback, Alfredo and Richard. I've forwarded the
document to our Spanish translator, Ignacio. If he cannot take a look
at it, I will do so.

Best,

Scott
