icon size lyx

Hello,

last week I got a new computer (windows 8.1.) with a high definition
display. I installed lyx version 2.1.0 and Miktex 2.9.

I got the same problem as described by Paola (
http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel%40lists.lyx.org/msg182143.html). I
can't work with Lyx anymore due to the small icon size.

I also read the bug report: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/8962.

It would be really nice, if you could provide more detailed information on
how to adapt the size by myself since I am rather new to Lyx and more the
user than developer-type. Sorry.


I hope, I did not missuse this list.

Perhaps you can help me. I for sure prefer using Lyx over other latex
editors.

I will attach a set of hacked icons to the bug report in a couple days,
when I figure out how to make them work.
