Hello, yes this happens with all my old presentations. I will upload a minimal example.

Apparently a took out the real cause of the problem when a made the example I uploaded. Finally I have found that the real source of my problem is the conversion of overlay options. Here attached are two minimal examples 1 and 2.

MinimalExample1 fails to load in LyX2.1 giving the error
/var/folders/vv/dnklz33w8xl51r006s6y082h0000gq/T/lyx_tmpdir.YIyqsDR74437/Buffer_convertLyXFormatXXXXXX.lyx.npfOOrT74437 ended unexpectedly, which means that it is probably corrupted.

MinimalExample2.lyx run for ages asking from time to time
The command pdflatex “MinimalExample2.tex” has not text completed
Do you want to stop it?

Both examples compile fine with LyX2.0.8. lyx2lys responsible?

The minimal example converts and exports fine for me. Do you get any error
messages in View > Messages or Tools > LaTeX Log?
