Problem with Lyx

I am having problem installing Lyx on Mac OSX (10.9.2). Lyx does not start.

Hi,

If you have python 3 installed with macports, the first thing to try is to see whether it is enabled by default or not:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8201760/how-to-macports-select-python

if it is, then you have to choose a python 2 default.

This should be fixed in the next LyX release.
